Nexus Dev is a self-hosted workspace for AI-assisted engineering. Reusable recipes give agents the right task and the right context. A control panel keeps your identity and keys in one place. Everything runs on your own machines.
What we build
Five pieces that work together. Each one also stands alone.
Recipes, connectors, routines
A recipe is one engineering task an agent can run end to end: commit grouping, feature kickoff, test hardening. Connectors declare where data comes from. Routines run recipes on a schedule.
One place for identity and secrets
Tools plug in as pages. They borrow a short-lived, scoped credential or send a prompt through the panel. The provider key never leaves it.
What is waiting on you
One scored feed of reviews, unanswered mail and failed runs. Duplicates collapse. Every score shows its reasons.
Meetings, captured locally
Records both sides of a meeting, transcribes while it happens, separates the speakers, then summarizes decisions and action items. No audio leaves the machine.
Plans and knowledge agents can read
Plans, architecture notes and a marketplace of recipes and skills, indexed so an agent starting in any repo finds the context it needs.
Built on Claude
Claude is the agent that runs inside Nexus Dev. We build the workspace around how Claude works best.
- Claude Code runs our recipes. Each recipe compiles into a Claude Code command, and our recipe and skill marketplace installs as a Claude Code plugin.
- Claude sessions work across repos. Every task starts in its own worktree with that repo's rules loaded, so parallel work never collides.
- Claude reads our knowledge over MCP. Plans, decisions and architecture notes are served to Claude through our own MCP server.
